Hello and Thank you for your interest in The American Women's Club of Korea. Based in Seoul, we have lots of great members who will do their best to help you learn about and get comfortable with your new home here. Your expat memories will be enriched by your experiences in Korea.

You will find that AWC Korea provides an awesome support network for all women. We have monthly Newcomer coffees where we share our members' tips/tricks to jumpstart your familiarization with the Seoul area. You do not have to be a member of AWC to attend the Newcomer Coffee.

Monthly member meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month. Each month's program offers an interesting speaker or entertaining activity and local vendors are available with their creative products. As a newcomer, you are welcome to attend a couple of our monthly meetings. Membership signups are available at the meeting registration table each month.

The American Women's Club of Korea has also launched a dynamic new program called LIVING IN SEOUL. Known as LIS, the program is designed to provide 'instant' information that otherwise could take several months to gather. I participated in a similar program in Zurich and found it to be a lifesaver. Whether you have been here one day, a few months or several years, you are sure to learn something new. The next LIS program is scheduled for October 2008.

We also have a variety of volunteer activities that will keep you interested. I invite you to roam our website and discover for yourself.

I look forward to meeting you!

Regards,
Bev Sodan
